I am curious and walk into the woods.

I can hear a knocking sound above me.

Oh, a great spotted woodpecker!

And now I can spot even more animals on the trees: two squirrels, a marten, and a sleeping owl.

All of a sudden, someone is angrily grunting at me: ‘Get away from my children!’ It is the wild boar mother with her striped piglets. She has given me such a fright that I jump away. ‘Come with me, little rabbit, or else the fox might catch you!’

I call back.

I am out of breath when I arrive back at the farm. But I cannot find the way to my stable.

I carefully walk through the vegetable garden. Suddenly, two horns appear in front of my face. ‘These are my flowers. I want to eat them!’, the billy goat huffs.

I step back a pace. ‘I don’t want them.

I’m trying to get back to my stable,’ I explain.

But will the peacock allow me to pass him? There, I can hear my mother neighing.
